I love to watch the sun set, who doesn’t? The poem SUNSET THINKING by Marilyn Lott sums up how I feel while admiring and soaking myself with the beauty of sunset……
Do you ever watch the sunset
And just sit and think about things
Just you and the sky and darkness
Giving your thoughts some wings
Perhaps you’ve got some troubles
And don’t know what to do
Or you just plain need to get away
To spend a little time with you
Sunset beauty makes you feel as though
Your life has meaning after all
To see a sight so extraordinary
Makes you feel capable, strong and tall
It’s funny how flashes of color
Like a sunset or sunrise can inspire
It can calm your inner self a bit
It’s a scene you can never tire
The serenity gives you a chance
To put things in perspective
Life can be overwhelming at times
And a sunset can be reflective
So when the sky lights up next time
Let your gaze do some drinking
Soak up all the amazing sights
And do some sunset thinking!
These are the amazing sights I have captured during my travel in the Philippine islands, which made me realize the wonders of nature and the gift of life.
BORACAY ISLAND
Sprawled in the creamy white sand waiting for the sun to set while watching the going ons..and this guy skim boarded infront of me. Such a lovely sight.
PANGLAO ISLAND, BOHOL
A family that travels together, stays together, a very inspiring way to strenthen family bond.
GUIMARAS ISLAND
Forging friendship through travels, exploring quiet and sometimes isolated islands away from the city and without technology helped us get to know each other..
BANTAYAN ISLAND
Island life is simple and peaceful. Watching the islanders go about their daily activities like fishing is fascinating.
MABUA, SURIGAO
Fishing is the main source of livehood in this barangay. Spoke to this father who said that he’s able to provide for his family through fishing.
Children are happy because they have the biggest playground surrounding them. Got a chance to play with them too and even shared my snacks.
The color of the sky just took my breath way……
Two of my faves, beautiful sunset and a cute friendly dog,
And the PERFECT SUNSET CAPTURED
NONOC ISLAND, SURIGAO
An island that thrive because of Mini g. Life here is simple. Stayed for 5-days and mingled with the locals. This is the back of the tourism office where we stayed.
He’s wondering about what the future will bring..
Trying to steal silhouettes of these teenagers and they knew what I’m up to…
So we ended up staging a jump shot against the setting sun…
BOATING IN SOHOTON ISLAND
In the middle of the sea after exploring Sohoto Island for a day.
ZAMBALES
The best way to end a tiring team building activity.
LOBO, BATANGAS
Stolen shots of teenagers meeting by the beach.
MT. PINATUBO
Not the best but amazing though
SABANG, PUERTO PRINCESA, PALAWAN
The night is still young, but the place is so quiet.
CORON, PALAWAN
One of my favorite place in the country, home of best beach and a very peaceful place. A view from my hotel room.
The perfect location in Coron to watch sunset, Mount Tapyas.
