Traffic condition in Bulacan especially in key cities will surely raise your blood pressure to the roof! But hey there are other things that will elevate your BP yet these are the good, sinful goodies that you can take home as pasalubong. YES! I took them home and I was happy with them so I am sharing this story.
Last Thursday I went to Sta. Maria, Bulacan to observe our newly appointed sub-distributor van salesman conduct side street saturation of accounts. I had a merchandisers meeting at 9am in San Fernando Pampanga and left 10:15 on my way to Sta.Maria. It only took 1hr via NLEX thanks to WAZE for showing me the less favoured and inner arteries of Bulacan which is not traffic congestedbut kinda scary ha ha . .unfortunately guys I can’t really tell you which roads I traversed because I can’t even remember its names. I was too focused on driving in a one-way road under construction in an inhabited area!
So after fieldwork, audit and braving the traffic in Sta. Maria going towards Del Monte, i decided to visit the newly opened SM Center Pulilan to check the placement of the brand I manage. Thanks to realiable WAZE we were about to get away from traffic but we ended up taking the longer route. We were supposed to exit Bocaue going towards NLEX when traffic became heavy and while sitting still we saw a Pasalubong Store in the side street. I decided to park and check it out. Bulacan is known for firecrackers, Pastilyas and Chicharon!
Chicharon?! I was like…. YES! Probably it’s cheaper here, this is the Chicharon province anyway..
Went out of the car and inside Eddiene Pasalubong House in Bocaue Exit..from the view outside I already knew I will burn my wallet here😂
And I wasn’t disappointed my eyes were feasting, as I checked their offering…
From BP raising, cholesterol pumping and Uric Acid inducing foodies… name it they’ve got it ha ha… not to mention junk foods and the like.
I came here for the Chicharon….my eyes were scanning and there… saw them…inviting me …
I am not quite sure if EIB is their own brand but I tried this one and it is so good! Once you crack you can’t stop 😂😂😂😂
They also carry other Chicharon brands and others are generic, no brand name at all. Chicharon price ranges from Php25 to Php180 which is more affordable compared to Lapid’s if you buy it in Manila.
What caught my attention is Bucheron..it is made from Buchi I guess of a chicken.. it is a bit pricey this pack costs Php180 if I still remember it right, but do not worry they offer a small sampler pack for only Php25 which I tried… and it is sinfully yummy…
Eddiene also offers heavenly healthy goodies like these…ok not so healthy but better option for the kids and those watching their BP and uric acid
There’s more less sinful stuff, they sell locally produced vinegar, juice etc etc.. I didn’t take photos because I wasn’t really interested on buying them.. I only take a shot of the goodies I bought…well I guess you now have an idea on what I like to binge on👍
